A cool option for adding style and character to an ordinary ceiling fan — BUT not as easy of a project as you would think. There’s no hardware to this set, your simply removing your original fan blades and replacing with these using the original hardware. These fans are really delicate – so filling them is easy 🙁 fortunately they include one extra fan in the kit. I needed the spare. I had to get creative with some zip ties to make sure the base of the fans didn’t rub when the fan rotates. GREAT results. But it took a few tries to get this right.

These fan blades are beautiful and they really add a lovely look to our Florida home. They were easy to install and we appreciated the fact that they came with one extra palm blade just in case one ever got damaged. They were packaged really well and delivered quickly. I can highly recommend these palm blades.

These are very pretty! On my fan I was able to use the two existing outside bolts and secured the stem with fishing twine as someone else stated in their review. It’s beautiful but did take some work to instal. It was worth it to me.

Didn’t fit well to my fan. Had to add a piece of cardboard behind where it attached. Still moved around a bit because of the large openings. Then it makes a little noise when in use.

I installed these blades on a different brand fan by attaching the leaf directly to the blade arms. I simply poked small holes in the leaf with an exacto knife and attached the new leaf blades to the arms using the original bolts. The only modification I made was to use a very large washer on the ceiling facing side of the leaf blade where the bolt went through the holes that I had made. Also, I had to use fishing line to pull the new blades down slightly, as they were larger than the original blades. I simply tied one blade to the next one so that they would not rub against the fan mechanism and make noise.

The palms were really nice, but they didn’t come with any hardware or instructions on how to attach them to a ceiling fan.

works and looks good. the palms started to mold though. have it on the outdoor fan under the porch. probably only for indoor use

Came as described. Actually had 6 blades instead of 5 which is nice to have a spare. Bought to replace similar blades but bigger on that particular fan. We have it outside under roof so lets see if it holds the Florida moisture. Installation was easy with a few screws to put in.
