    This fan moves air. Very happy with that. Also, the whisperwind technology is very solid and the fan, even on the highest level, makes very little noise. The remote…ahhh, what a mess Hunter has on its hands. They have many fans, with many remotes. I cannot speak to all their fans/remotes, but this one is a problem. Most of the issues are fixable by the company. In the box, there is a manual. The website calls it an owner’s manual. Two customer service technicians called it an owner’s manual. The front title of the document calls it an installation manual. And that is what it is. It tells you how to attach the remote holder onto a sheetrock wall, but that is it. There are no instructions how to use the remote. There is a light button, a fan button, and an up and down buttons. I played with it a bit, and quickly came to the conclusion that without instructions, it is very frustrating to turn on and off the light…with and without the fan, and to use the dim feature. The default seems to be really centered on the fan. It is hard to do anything because the fan is always blowing and increasing its speed. After two rounds with customer service, that resulted in them sending me that installation manual electronically (it is obvious no one has read it), I went to the questions portion of their website. After reading a large number of questions and answers, I came to the conclusion that this is a fricking nightmare. Their fans have hundreds of remotes and remotes are randomly in groupings…with other remotes that operate similarly. You just haveto plug through it all til you find your remote. But the functionality is not listed under a single question even after you find it. Read read read…and you will eventually get most of the functions instructions. To Hunter: is it too much to ask for remote control instructions fir a $400 fan? Is it too much to expect a customer service team to at least understand the questions I am asking.l.and knowing that the answers are not in the installation manual? I guess it is.

    Hunter never disappoints. This damp rated fan fit perfectly into our outdoor gazebo that was just built. Super quiet and well balanced at high fan speed. Remote makes it super simple without chains hanging down.

    The look of the fan is very nice, just what I was looking for. However, the light is very dim and the wattage limitation restricts you from getting a much brighter bulb. I paid someone to install the fan, so unfortunately at that point there was no turning back. I would have chosen a different fan had I known how dim the light would be for a bedroom.

    The fan is high quality and quiet. It installs easily like any other ceiling fan. The included light bulb is very dim and the max wattage on the fixture does not leave much room to install a more powerful bulb.

    We bought these ceiling fans for our house we remodeled, and they are well worth the money. The remote is small and works well. The fan circulates the air great, but it only has really two speeds.
