    I have this fan mounted in my bedroom for some night time air circulation. This fan is whisper quiet — so quiet that I have to look sometimes to see if it even turned on.The light is bright enough to illuminate the room (16′ x 14′), although it’s not very evenly distributed. There’s definitely a “hot spot” in the middle of the room. The diffuser does a fairly poor job of actually distributing light evenly.The remote control does not have the ability to switch fan direction; depending on how high your ceilings are, that might be a deal breaker.Installation is easy although having a second set of hands can be helpful.
