    I want to love this fan, works great and has great features. HOWEVER you cannot turn off the light with the remote you have to download the app. Customer service has been great and reached out to help. I could never get the app to connect to my fan, but regardless of that I don’t want to HAVE to use the app to turn the light off. Just add a light switch to the remote to keep it simple. I ended up trying to rig one of the two I purchased with a wireless remote set and it blew out the light so now that fan is useless. I’m returning the other. Just not what I really wanted.

    I have never seen a bladeless ceiling fan before I ordered this one. It’s clean, compact and simplistic design is even more pleasing then I anticipated.It comes with a remote control, a wall switch, or an app that can be downloaded and controlled via your cell phone. The app is fun and really user friendly.This fan has 3 different speeds as well as 3 different dimming shades. It does not use that much energy so I save money on my bill each month by having this. Installment was fairly easy ~ wiring matched up perfectly. thanks to the simplified directions. It is super quiet and it has a timer incase I want it off at a certain time. Over all this fan was a great Investment.

    Yes I had a profession install it as he was here doing other work – however – he had it installed within 5 minutes. Remote is easy to use, fab is strong and disable light is nice. Happy with purchase!

    First, I love this light/ fan. My fan came with a white and black electrical wire, Normal for U.S. wiring. The included instructions, however, said to hook brown wire to white wire, and white wire to black ceiling wire… huh…also said to hook fan wire to ceiling wire…. huh. I had no fan wire, and my wires were white and black, so it was easy to just hook up like a regular light, white to white and black to black. I did this myself…. a small woman on a ladder and it took about 1/2 hour. My concerns were that I wanted to be able to turn on the light from the wall switch, and only use the remote to turn on the fan when needed, and I am able to do that…. so very happy. And even though people carry their phone with them everywhere, I certainly did not want to have to open an App on my phone every time I wanted to turn on the bathroom light. The light needs to be on in order for the fan to work, because it needs power from the light switch, however maybe the phone App is different.

He has a taller loft bed and the traditional ceiling fan that was in there was both unsafe and not circulating the air like we needed. The shorter, completely inclosed fan blades put my mind at ease, I am not worried about him hitting his head on them when he gets out of bed. The sound is a soft humm and does not ever get a rocking ‘click’ sound like most ceiling fans. The fact that I can adjust the brightness level of the lights is great too, he likes to read at night and the lower softer white light keeps his eyes from straining. When building legos, he like the bright white light on full brightness to help his see all the fine details.After having it up for a few months the fan blades are not collecting dust like I would have suspected. they are a little dusty, but there is not a lot of build up on the blades. The fan does circulate the air fantastically, the air is directed more in a downward cone. With the enclosed blade compartment design, the air is blocked from blowing out initially, however with that being said, he still stays very cool in is loft bed and when I stand outside his door with it shut I can feel the air on my feet. So there is full circulation throughout the room.
