Works great for the low price. The blades are polished plastic, so it’s very shiny. Whether this looks cheap or not is up to you. I do wish it had a matte finish, but this might come with other problems like noise or a slower speed. This thing moves a decent amount of air, even more than my existing Hunter fan with four lights. It does make noise, but I wouldn’t call it especially noisy. The noise it does make is a fairly pleasant whooshing sound.(Update: reducing a star because one of the fan speeds makes a clicking noise. Unfortunately it’s my girlfriend’s favorite fan speed, speed 2, the middle slower speed. I found out the noise is from the bottom of the blades hitting the base — plastic on plastic as a result of the resonance at that speed. The screws were perfectly tight, so I tried loosening them to no avail. I’ve put soft tissues between the blades and the base which has solved it so far, but it’s an annoying design flaw. I originally tried black electrical tape, but it made a much worse clicking as the tape hits the plastic base.)Installation was pretty easy. Having electrical tape will be helpful in case any strands of wire manage to stick out of the end caps.It comes with two downrods. One thing to note – if you’re planning to use the short one like me, you won’t be able to use the cover that goes on the bottom part of the downrod. This does change the look a bit. It also means an ugly sticker will be exposed, so be sure to take that off before you install it if you’re planning to use the short downrod. It’s the type of sticker you’ll need Goo Gone for. I waited until afterwards which was a real hassle.Another bit of confusion for me: there are four speeds on the wall plate. The off position is at the bottom. The speed closest to that is the highest fan speed. I would expect it to the be the reverse, with the slowest speed closest to off.

Great fan. Looks good, nice and sleek so it doesn’t detract from the room- just blends in nicely. The speed settings are great, 3 &4 are comfortable breezes for sleeping, 2 is very refreshing on a hot day and 1 will really some air. At no speed would I say it’s overly loud either.

I bought this fan because of the name of the product. It can’t possibly be from that company due to the lack of workmanship and quality. It’s very noisy and did not come with remote. I’m only using it b/c my purchase was way before installation and too much time went buy to return. I would suggest to anyone thinking of buying to invest in a well known brand and save time snd trouble. Not happy.

What can I say? Nice, cheap… I am happy!Comes with a four-speed control and two sizes rod for different ceiling height.I used the shortest one because I installed it in my porch and the ceiling is pretty low.The instruction booklet has a note that say that if you are using the short rod there is not enough clearance to mount the conical cover on top of the fan motor. This is not true. I was able to install both covers (conical on the fan and round on the ceiling) and looks great!

Let me start by saying there is nothing wrong with this fan. It works…However, it is not what we expected either. There is a cheapness both aesthetically and in materials that buyers should be aware of. Somehow, the minimalist concept on this is more “Lost in Space” styling than mid-century modern and, I guess that is the best way to explain my disappointment. I am not really a “Lost in Space” guy… If you are boy do I have a fan for you…

Great fan for the price. It’s dead quiet and it works as expected. The included fan control wall switch makes it an even better bargain. My one complaint is that the trim piece that goes over the motor does not fit if you use the shorter of the two included downrods. This gives it a bit of an unfinished look. I don’t think that is enough to take away from the 5-star rating, considering the price.

Fan works great and moves lot of air. Only thing bad is that wall switch is not OK. The speed is in reverse direction. 1 is fastest and 4 is slowest.Looks are very modern and simplistic.

I love this fan in our bedroom but it often makes a buzzing a sound. but I think that may be due to our installation process. It looks great, simple and smooth. gives good air circulation. I’d buy it again
