I installed this in a rental unit, so I’m not taking it out… if I installed in my own house, I would return! I’m in disbelief there’s no reverse (for winter use). It has a super thin cheap diffuser that’s hard to center. The metal surrounding the diffuser is very thin and I had to bend it in the right position so light didn’t penetrate around the diffuser. There’s big holes in the canopy surrounding the motor (I guess for cooling) they could’ve made more discreet. Then there’s this rotating (air director??) that you can turn on, which I believe does nothing. I’m going to rate this as junk… hopefully it’ll have a long life, at least.
