    First off I bought this due to the reviews and the fact that I needed a flush mount fan due to how low my bedroom ceiling is. I would like to say the flush mount aspect of it should be described appropriately. Do not buy this expecting it’s gonna be flush. There is at least 4 inches of overhang from the ceiling to the base of the fan. That was disappointing. Secondly the mounting bracket is very weak. They could have invested a little more on a sturdy base considering the whole assembly’s is hanging while dealing with the centrifugal forces of the fan. I will have to buy a proper bracket and remount the assembly again. The entire assembly except the cylindrical base and a couple more parts is made out of plastic. This makes it super light. Hope the plastic is tough to handle hours of daily use. The cylindrical base that attaches the fan to the ceiling bracket is also very weak. For the price they could have used a thicker gauge metal. Another bad thing is how it looks when the lights are off. The top section just doesn’t look that good. I wish they had included some sort of cover for the base to make it appealing. The ground wire was so thin it broke when I was trying to install and I had to replace it with a better wire. I was really looking forward to getting this fan but once I did it really doesn’t excite me as I thought it would. Nevertheless I think the idea is great and with a little tinkering you can make it work well for you. I will not be returning this one due to the hassle involved in uninstalling it and repackaging. Please buy knowing this is not a high quality product and the description is misleading

    The product comes packaged well the picture describes it perfectly. It is light compared to older stlye. But it takes longer to hang because the tools connected to the fan are not strong so it is tedious trying to attach to bracket. Mounting brackets are the worst. Cheap brackets!

    The light and fan, are very nice and would be awesome if there had been a band to cover the screws at the base of the fan. I would have given this product a 5 if the screws were hidden from view. When my husband purchased this product he had no idea that the screws would show and that there was not a band to wrap around and cover the exposed screws. When he called the company, he was told to look at the picture that was on the website and sure enough the product did not have anything to cover the screws. It was not worth the effort to revoke the light/fan so we are looking for something to cover what we deem to be a flaw in this product. I must say the company was not very helpful and did not offer any advise to assist us in finding a product to help us cover the screws. As a side note I realize we purchased this product and “our” bad for not noticing this flaw.

    The product is an enclose ceiling fan with a light. The enclosure is a safety feature for installation on a low ceiling. I had to return the first one because the light worked but the fan did not. Probably just a loose wire. Amazon was really fast in sending the replacement. I really like the unit. There are two light settings and the light is bright. The fan is relatively quiet and it looks good. The design and installation are simple but I found it a bit difficult to connect the fan wires to the wires in the outlet box and then twist in the base. My only complaint is the pathetic one page instructions that came in the box. Surely they could have a more clear and detailed description of setup and remote.

    This is a decent fan for the price point. First and foremost, the I installation was not too difficult. Yes everyone is right, there are very limited installation instructions, but in all took me about 15 minutes to install. The remote is very basic, turn on and off light, adjust speed of fan. The only thing missing from the fan/remote is to dim the light. But the product description clearly does not mark it as such. The fan does give off lots of air, but it is noticeably louder than a traditional ceiling fan, but not too much to keep you awake. Compare it to the sound a floor fan makes, almost like white noise. The light is extremely bright, so if this is trying to cover a large area, it will light it up. Our area is smallish so the softer light works best for us.

    this is the best fan/light I ever bought!! It works great and the remote control makes it even better! My only gripe was the installation process, but I came up with a simple fix to ease the installation! Just use a stiff wire about 8″ long and bend both end into a hook and hang the fan onto the mounting box. This leaves both hands free to work on the fan wires! Also, forget the ground wire, because most USA light switches aren’t even grounded to the light!

    I enjoy how this fan is built. it light weight, easy to install. It looks beautiful. I really didn’t want a ceiling face that has anything hanging because to me it make the ceiling appear closer. My husband is tall and I didn’t want him to bump into tassels that hung down. Not only did this fan go beyond my expectation it makes my ceiling look pretty high up make the room appear bigger that what it is. the one down fall is you have to cycle throw the light everything you turn it off to get back to the setting you want.
