Everything everyone said is true! First time installing a ceiling fan. The video helped and the comments. Instructions are crap. And its true the ballast is going to hit the middle open bolt in the middle. Its ok to remove it, its just double tapped.

beautiful ceiling fan but, if you have never put together and installed a ceiling fan, this is not for you. first off, the instruction booklet that came with the fan wasnt even the correct book. the book had instructions for a different fan than what we bought. second issue, the wiring cables werent colored (both were white) so we couldnt tell which wire to connect to. third issue, the screws were hard to put in and wouldnt stay. fourth issue, there was a little electrical box that came in and you had to connect that to the fan and put it in between the light and the fan, there was barely any room for the box to fit. only thing good about the product is, it looks nice, fan is very quiet, you have 3 different options for lights and you can adjust how the light rings are placed.

I wanted a fancier ceiling fan for my teenage daughter’s room. I purchased the light around August. I had it professionally installed in September. By November the light was not working. In December we had our electrician come back. He was able to get the light working the transformer (I think) had gone bad and the remote was no longer working so we could not get the ceiling fan to work. I contacted Amazon and they had me contact the seller directly. They asked for a picture of the remote which i sent December 12th. Now it is January 19th and I have not heard from the company. And the light went out again today. This has been a waste of money. I should have left the ugly ceiling fan light combo in place. We have upgraded other lights in our home and never had a problem. We use the same electrician. Bad experience with the product.
