    The ratings are not high enough for this gorgeous creature. The absolute worst things about this fan are that the ceiling is a bit dark due to the cool sleek shape and it doesn’t remember your light color preference after you flip the switch. The default is to come on with a middle of the road color and no fan. It is super easy to change between the colors, so this is not a problem for me. Brightness is good for a 11×13 bedroom. I didn’t like the woodgrain so I painted the blades black. Install was typical for a ceiling fan. Fan runs super smooth and really moves air on the highest speed.Regarding the bad reviews:It does beep when it comes on, but that is typical for newer fans and it is a soft beep compared to my last one.It does not glow when off. I believe the other reviewer had it in nightlight mode or there was an issue with the fan mine doesn’t have.Also, love the fact that if I turn if off with the remote before I go to sleep, I just have to flip the switch off in the morning and the next time it’s flipped on it behaves normally. My last fan wouldn’t come on until I went to the remote and turned it on

    This fan works well and moves air well, which is the most important part. But there are some annoying features as well. I would choose a different fan if these weren’t already installed but I will deal with the annoying things:1-the light turned “off” still glows, light a nightlight. I don’t like that. But whatever.2-if you turn the wall switch off, and turn it back on, the fan doesn’t “remember” what settings it was on, like light off, speed 4. It turns the light on and you have to set fan speed for it to start. Every other fan I’ve ever owned remembers what settings it was on when switch was turned on so you could just turn the switch on again without having to reset everything.Otherwise, it works well. I don’t like these things but they are just annoying.
