I helped assemble this fan at my son’s house. Liked it so much I purchased one for our bedroom. It is MUCH MUCH easier to put it together on a table or workbench (Including the fan blades.) before hanging on mounting bracket.Plenty of blade clearance from ceiling to allow you to hook up wiring. Then tighten the three mounting bracket lock screws. There is no way I would have been able to mount the light bulb fixture while hanging upside down like a bat. The light fixture box is packed with wires making the tiny mounting screws hard to see and thread. You might need a helper to line up the tabs of the mounting bracket to the fan because the fan is a bit heavy. Not a complaint. Solid, beautiful fan.The bottom line for me is I love the fan.Extremely well made. Attractive. Quiet. The instructions are clear with hardware bags marked in a clever way with symbols matching instruction steps to keep things organized.I just strongly disagree with instructions to hang and assemble from ceiling.Trust me on this 🙂

I love the look of this fan because it’s more modern looking. I was initially worried that it wouldn’t give off enough light but it definitely does. I was able to install this myself, I’m a 51 yr old female, without assistance but with frustration. Getting the base mounted and wires connected was no problem. I ran into a little bit of trouble connecting the blades – if I would have had a magnetic screwdriver that would have helped because I kept dropping the screws in my attempt to hold a blade with one hand in just the right spot and then getting the screw and screwdriver in with the other. The pain point was installing the light kit! It was a beast to install and caused me to shout many expletives!! Having to wear my reading glasses to see that close up didn’t help any. There was such a narrow space to get everything connected it was near impossible plus one of the holes was misaligned (bad qc) which obviously didn’t help. I think it’s quiet and I really like how it looks so my frustration was worth it!

Great little fan – super quiet and looks nice as well. Spend a little more on a Hunter and you won’t be disappointed. Instructions were easy to follow and I’m super happy. Note: I replaced an existing fan, so I have no feedback on starting from scratch.

I’ve read some of had trouble installing but that just may be the skill of the installer. I had no problem and it’s perfect sizing for my 14 x 12‘ room. Already turning the air conditioner on a little later in the afternoon. I assume this in the long run will be a money saver. Also it’s a decent looking fixture.

Like the look and how it moves air. Installation was a challenge due to installing small screws upside down. Took a few tries to get parts to lineup to get everything screwed together. While a hassle to install it was worth it.

I have installed many Hunter fans over the years. I really like the updated look of this one with the brushed nickle. I’m impressed with the sure speed. I replaced an old flush mount 52 inch Hunter with this 44 inch Hunter and there is much better air flow.

The first time I turned it on the motor had an annoying low pitched hum that increased intensity with the higher speeds. The noise was the same no matter the blade direction.Additionally, the installation instructions are incorrect (pg 7). When trying to attach the light assembly one of the keyhole slots is completely blocked by the controller block that has been affixed in place with double-sided tape. See the 2 pics ; one being the manual pic and the other is the actual. There’re are only 3 securing screws so my only option was to carefully peel the controller block away from the side wall to access the keyhole slot.

Love the fan and the design of it, very sleek. Easy to use and easy to install (but if you’re not comfortable with that, I recommend a professional for installation).
