    This is a really lovely light fixture. I like the that the fan blades fold into the fixture when not in use. However, we are in an older house with ceilings that are not the strongest. I recommend having an electrician install this and definitely ensure that your ceiling will support it.

    Simply don’t do it, this thing was a nightmare to assemble. I am very experienced in replacing light fixtures and ceiling fans, this was the worst one I ever worked on.1) the instructions are horrible and there is a million parts to this thing. Instructions are a picture book at best. We have a ton of parts left over and no idea why or what they go to.2) the beads don’t hook to the bottom loop, the fasteners are to small to clip on, we had to purchases new ones and modify a brand new product for it to work as intended.3) it takes E12 bulbs which are not included in the box. So we had to assemble the entire thing a 5 hour project for experienced installers just to realize we needed special bulbs.4) the packaging looked like it survived a earthquake and arrived damaged with some parts broken. I had to use picture hanger wire to attach the beads to the bottom ring, because their hardware wasn’t sufficient.All and all I love the look of this fan, it does function well once installed. It goes well with my farmhouse style table. And after the install it is really unique.My heartburn with it is really around the number of parts it comes in, and lack of quality instructions on how to assemble. That and the standard parts need to be modified to work. It’s like a ceiling fan from wish.If you do get it, you will love it after it’s together you will second guess your life choices while installing it. You might even contemplate a divorce.

    Easy installation. The installation video helps greatly that is found in the product page. The fan is very nice looking and the retractable blades move a lot of air. There are six speed settings including setting for pushing air up or down and timer. The remote works great.
