    Really love the design and look of the fan. Would have liked this to be able to be mounted a little closer to the ceiling, but it is ok. Also after 3 months there seemed to be more motor noise when the fan is running on the lowest speed, so use it mostly on medium when sleeping.

    We redid our living room and had our contractor put in a box for a ceiling fan. We shopped and shopped for the perfect one for us, and this one is it! The only thing this one didn’t have that I wanted was a remote control. So I purchased that separately and installed with the fan. The installation was straight forward. My one complaint was that I wanted a ceiling hugger and although the the Amazon page for the fan said it could be close mounted, the instructions showed that it could not. So, I just used the down rod that came with it. It hangs a little lower than I would like, but it’s perfect. I did read reviews before pulling the trigger on this one, but one thing that a couple said is that it doesn’t move air. One person showed a video of a feathered ornament or whatever and nothing was moving. Perhaps that person had the fan blowing up vice down, because mine moves air very well, even on the lowest setting. It is amazing!

    I had a concern when I looked at the instructions. I wanted a close mount type fan, and the instructions state that this model is not adaptable to that. After I looked at all the parts I realized that even if it’s not shown in the instructions, they do supply all the parts to make it a close mount.This fan is well built, easy to assemble and install, and now looks great.Ok, so my fan doesn’t look like the one in the listing. My wife wanted a coastal theme fan, and this is what she came up with. Unfortunately it had a black housing and cherry finished blades. Nothing that some disassembly, paint, labor and a light fixture from another project that I adapted to achieve the look that my wife envisioned. The fan does not come with a remote. For us that’s OK, we keep our fans on one speed.

    Use the first one I bought in my sewing room. I absolutely love it. Ib fact, I’m buying another one to I stall in my home office. It looks and works great. (I’m using them in rooms the size of bedrooms.)
