    Once mounted the light and fan fixture works well. The lights are bright and the fan is great. The mounting instructions however are another story. Those instructions made it look like it was four simple steps. Too bad it wasn’t the case. The diagrams didn’t match what was supplied. No mention that the remote controller receiver was made in the instructions. It was after I had wired the power to the fan and opened the box for the remote control did I find that there was another box that had to be wired in. The LED light strips are mounted via small magnets, these aren’t the rare earth magnets that have a lot of holding strength. The box that control the lights are also mounted with magnets. You have to play with the position of the light strip and the control box so that the magnets get a decent grip.

    Beautiful to look at – especially when lit – cool hidden fan expands and works quietly. Not having a reverse direction fan setting is not a big deal for me, but not having the cycling light warmth memory (to remember the last selected setting) is going to be an perpetual minor annoyance. Also, beautiful as it is, I wish it were brighter. I bought this to replace a typical 4-lights/5-blades fan in my home office, ended up needing to buy additional task lighting for my desk. No regrets, though – just a 1-star deduction for no light warmth memory and being not quite bright enough for my use case.

    Very easy to install. I love the “Tiffany” style globe, and the three modes of light. The coolest feature of course are the disappearing fan blades when it is turned off. Surprisingly powerful airflow from the fan when it is operating – we hardly turn it past 3 because that is plenty of airflow.Definitely recommend this ceiling fan. It was nice to see the packaging protected the globe – no issues at all.

    I got the “updated” model and the instruct6ions were horrid! The mounting backet does not fit a standard junction box–how hard would that be for them to have taken that into account? The instructions give no info on hooking up the light either. We figured it all out on our own, and have to say the unit is stunning! Looks great, fan is quiet. Remote works great–would have given all that a 5 star rating, but the poor mounting design and the instructions downgraded it to the 3 star rating I gave.

    I enjoy using the remote for the brightness and fan speed. It feels solid and does not vibrate and i love the lighting effect with the colored glass. This is led lighting so i think that it will be cheap to light and last longer than most fans. It does surprise people because they just think it is a tiffany type light and when the fan is turned on it is unexpected. lol.

    I wanted to replace an ugly white fan with large white blades that hung in the living room of our new house and I am so happy with this fan/lamp. I love the fact that only the lamp itself is visible and the fan blades only come out when the fan is in use. It is actually a perfect fan for smaller rooms since the blades are not out all of the time.
