    First, the installation was relatively straightforward–in that we watched a friend do it for us. Next, it is as quiet as others here say. However, if you live in an even remotely hot and humid place, pass on it. (in Hawaii here–and it is not even the hot season yet) The air circulation in this small room in which I am sitting is minimal. If you live in the south or in the MW or NE where sweltering summers arrive, look to other choices. Not worth the $143.00.

    This fan was perfect. I needed a small fan for our kitchen and it had to be small enough my husband wouldn’t hit his head on it. It’s exactly what I needed. It’s practically silent! Perfection.

    We installed this fan on a 14′ ceiling beam and it cools the whole room. Plenty of power even though it is lightweight. The remote control was a must have because of the fan location.
