I really wanted a ceiling fan to help make our top-floor master bedroom more comfortable in the heat of summer, and have never done anything more complicated with wiring than replacing light fixtures – so I was a little nervous about how this install would go, and anticipated some confusion and struggle. I also didn’t want to sacrifice design and aesthetics, so really hoped that this fan would work out, because it was the only one I really liked the appearance of, with the specs and features I wanted.As others have noted, the instructions aren’t very detailed, but I found them to be fully sufficient. Again, I’ve never installed anything this complicated before, but I read the instructions thoroughly to understand the whole process, and then took my time as I went step by step, referring to the next steps to know what to anticipate after I finished the current one. The biggest challenge was simply the tight working space that is an inevitable limit of the 6” rod, but I was patient and careful, and there were no surprises or problems.There were some steps that are assumed rather than stated in the instructions – like feeding the cords through the pole, trimming the excess length, and so on, but this was fairly straightforward and obvious to me as I went. I completed the install in a reasonable amount of time by myself without frustration, and bought the wall control as well. After I finished everything and turned the power back on, it worked perfectly, with no need to troubleshoot anything. The voice control works perfectly, the wall control is excellent, and the remote is great – though I mostly use the wall control and voice commands with my Alexa.After a couple of weeks of use, my husband and I agree that it’s one of the best investments we’ve ever made in our house. It doesn’t necessarily cool the bedroom, but it moves the air well, and is extremely quiet – nearly silent unless it’s on the maximum level, actually. While I used to just sweat heavily in bed during the summer, having fresh moving air has made it so I barely notice that the room is ten or more degrees warmer than I find tolerable!Not only that, but it looks fantastic. It’s a beautiful style that looks so much more sleek and attractive than the other models I was looking at, and it fits our decor aesthetic perfectly. Highly recommend, and very pleased with this purchase – and I was very proud of myself for installing this so easily on my first try!

The fan looks great, works well and is a nice update to our old one. Don’t love the remote – the arrow indicators are hard to see and the wall attachment is magnetized so I am constantly knocking it off the wall. Also, the beep indicator is annoying – the installer said there’s no way to turn it off. All that said, the fan looks great and I’m considering buying another one for a different room so overall, it’s an 8/10 for me.

Like someone else mentioned, the CFM on the box is less than in the description. For a larger space, that may be a problem. But this is in a bedroom so it’s actually quite good.The light is MUCH darker/oranger than it looks. Hoping to replace it with a lighter color “bulb” eventually, but the air is so good that I’ll live with it if I can’t.The installation is a huge pain and it really functions the best with the WAC light switch that’s NOT included. Using the included remote with the wall mount is very annoying. But overall for the space it’s in, it’s a good option.Also the fan beeps when you increase the fan speed on either the remote or wall switch. With every single click. It’s very obnoxious. But not when you use the application.

Remote was defective out of the box but they shipped me a replacement overnight that works. The metal bowl cover is a tight fit and very thin metal that easily deforms and bends so I ended up cutting the wires short to fit in the space provided.

Had an electrician install since it was 25’ in the air- bought a 4’ extension downrod and hangs perfectly on our sloped great room ceiling. App works great with iPhone 13 Pro Max. Makes a little noise in speed 3 of 4 for some reason so 4 stars.
