    Just like the pictures, this fan with retractable blades is fantastic for a small room. It looks nice and modern and with the retractable blades, if you only need a light, nobody would know that this one is not just a regular fixture.The remote has up to 6 speeds and the light is dimmable and you can adjust the white balance from a very bright white, to a nice soft warm white. The remote also allows you to reverse the flow so it can push the air down or up as needed.IT IS SUPER QUIET even at the highest setting! I do recommend these fans for smaller rooms!

    For the price, the fan is a steal.Pros: This was an inexpensive replacement for our old, traditional ceiling fan.It looks modern and runs quietly.The three light colors give just the right light for the occasion.Since my husband doesn’t like running the fan often, hiding it away is nice.Cons:As with most LED lighting, the fixtures are all plastic. If you look closely, you might notice.There was absolutely no way the decorative part on the light globe would stay on. There were no clips. Nothing to fasten it to the white shade. I had to hot glue the black ring to the white shade. This bothered me, but we didn’t realize the problem until the entire fan was installed.

    The Ohniyou 42” fan was surprisingly lightweight for a ceiling fan, and installed very easily. I have installed a lot of different brand fans, and this was by far the easiest one ever. They included quite a few extra connectors and different types of screws including wall anchors, which most other companies do not include.The fan speeds are great, and I like the fact you can reverse direction by the remote control instead of having to climb up to the fan and slide a toggle switch.Overall this seems like a very nice fan. The only downside is with the remote. Other companies include a remote that also has a wall holder or clip to keep it within the room or to be able to control the fan from a set position. This fan does not have a wall mount clip to do that. No big deal, but would have been nice to have something to set the remote in.

    The light is beautiful and the fan is effective and very easy to operate. The only problem, which is a big problem for our family, is that the light is so dim! Even above a dining table with a normal 10′ ceiling it feels dungeon-y and dark. My husband might be able to retrofit it so that there are more 2000K-3000k bulbs in order to make the yellower light brighter, but if he can’t we’ll definitely be returning it.

    It performs better than a regular type of fan. So quiet and cools room even though the blades are smaller. I bought another one for my kitchen.

    The fan looks beautiful. It runs quiet also. The remote is very responsive and easy to use.There are 2 drawbacks.1. The installation instructions, it seems outdated. I spent 2 hours to install it. Please update the Mounting section. There is no “J” hook nor zip tie. Also make sure to loosen 2 screws on the bottom of the mounting bracket before placing the hanger ball onto the hanger bracket. These 2 screws will lock the canopy in the “Secure The Canopy” step. The canopy is a bit small so it’s a bit difficult to close it after squeezing all the wires and inserting the remote receiver into the mounting bracket.2. I’m still unable to sync the app with the fan. I’ve tried the instructions as indicated on the web but no luck.- Turn on/off the ceiling fan light 5x- Press and hold the “Setup” button on the remote for 3 seconds, no sound/beep at all- Press the BL button on the appI take 1 star off because of the APP. Also update the app name on the Google Play Store and Apple Store in the manual. I’m not going to download from an external link.
