L. Spinuso –
the initial installation, though very simple, did not go smoothly. It’s a standard ceiling fan installation, with a remote receiver module, but I ran into a couple of problems.1) the ceiling fan mount has foam pads for vibration damping, pretty standard, on one side, however, the foam was so out of alignment the screw to the box couldn’t get through so I had to tear that a bit.2) the remote and the receiver were not paired. I was able to get instructions from the company on how to pair it (cut power to the fan for a few hours to make sure it has no charge, power on the fan and press and hold the reverse and timer button for 5 seconds, you should be paired) but it would have been nice if these were included in the instruction manual3) there is a thermometer in the remote, it’s in Celsius only, no way to switch to Fahrenheit4) when I got the fan to power on (after pairing the remote) the fan turned a little and rubbed on the housing and then stopped. I had to turn off the fan, and carefully adjust the housing by hand until it was pulled away enough from the fan mechanism that it did not interfere. I would like to add that this is the side that the last screw in the light cage was not easy to install and I sort of pulled the screw in the direction to get it in so that might have been part (or all) of the problem. Now, to be clear, once it’s installed and working, it works great. Blows lots of air for a 36 inch fan (I keep it at speed 3 of 6) but the quality control on some of the parts is lacking. That being said, this is a $111 fan with hidden blades. I’m sure that if I opted for a $300 or $400 fan these problems wouldn’t exist or be as egregious and so I’m taking that into account for my review. For the price, this is a fantastic little fan, I just wish it worked out of the box. Finally, I don’t have any fancy lights yet (the fan doesn’t come with lights) but I was able to install the 1 regular size light bulb into the cage without removing it (I was worried about having to remove that cage each time). The holes are large enough to slight a light into and then you can manipulate it into place so it you’re concerned about that, don’t be.

I get a lot of compliments on my fan/light. It’s great looking, works fantastic, and the fan is silent.

Absolutely beautiful in our living room! Received many compliments on it!

I absolutely love this fan! It looks so fantastic in my country chic styled nail studio! It’s quiet, but because the blades are curved the way they are, it puts down a really incredible breeze that beats any standard ceiling fan!!! I highly recommend, and I will be buying at least 1 more rustic one and 2 of the chandelier ceiling fans!

I wrote a wonderful, detailed review that got denied. It even had pictures! So now I’ll be direct, with no pictures.Things you won’t like:- every time it turns on or you use the remote it beeps like a microwave. In the middle of the night when you’re hot and you want to turn on the fan but can’t because the incessant beeps will wake the house.- if you choose to use the light switch you will have to wait a full 1.5 seconds, or 3.5 feet into a dark room before the light gets done “thinking” and turns on…with a very proud beep! What you may like:-not the beep!-the fan is fun to show off to friends and mother in-laws-great wind power and quiet although the blades do make some sound when deploying and retracting.I’d say better for living areas rather than bedrooms due to being very bright and the beeping.

Love the product. Noise is quiet. Moves a lot of air. Remote control for fan but light comes on with a switch.

Love my fan

The fan worked great for about 4 months. Had issues with the remote after several months and customer service responded quickly and a new remote is on its way!
