The box it came in threw me off, not your typical “big store” fan box, but after opening it, I must say that I was very impressed that the blades were actually made of real wood and stained quite nicely ? the remote is pretty cheap and not so appealing for a living room as it is “white” in color, but it works good. Fan overall was very easy to install but I made the mistake of wiring up the motor and hanging it before installing the blades (I thought I would leave that part toll the end so they wouldn’t get in my way) so I had to undo the wiring, take it down, and screw on the blades first, then hang it and wire it up.. no big deal, it’s pretty straight forward and installed easy enough. The fan is extremely quiet on lower settings, on the highest settings, I do hear a slight noise, but it sounds more like wind noise than motor noise… overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on our fan!

Having done residential electrical work for 28 years I have installed hundreds if not thousands of ceiling fans so I can honestly say this fan seems very well made. The mounting bracket was very heavy duty. The fan was well balanced and didn’t wobble or make noise even at the fastest speed. Assembly was very easy and only required a screw drive and most importantly it looks fantastic on our large covered deck. As a word of advice I recommend assembling this fan on the ground. I emptied the box and used it to hold the down rod and fan assembly while I attached the blades. Start by installing your mounting bracket. Then assemble the down rod and motor. Next attach the blades and with this fan you may want a second person to help hold the blade as all three must be attached at the same time with the mounting ring holding them all in place. Now hang the fan from the bracket and wire up the remote.

I paid more for this fan than for those with cheaper motors and plastic blades. The design is beautiful. It’s absolutely silent except on the highest speeds. And it moves a good amount of air. Love the convenience of both switch and remote operation. I wish the light were warmer, but that’s a small consideration for me. Well worth the additional cost.

Good product. It looks great, very quiet, and won’t shake even at the highest speed. This is a good choice I made.

Wish there was an even slower setting than 1. Otherwise looks really sharp.

I was very concerned about purchasing this fan. There were no reviews, no CFM listed. But the wife loved the look and the color of the wood, so we took a gamble. So glad we did.We live in the “High Country” of the North Carolina mountains. Our home is at about 4850′ elevation. Summers normally don’t get over ~75⁰, and our home doesn’t have an HVAC system.Sunsets coming into the back windows can heat up the upper floor a bit though, so we rely on a ceiling fan to cool the area for a few hours in the evenings. This fan assembled and went up super easy. The mounting bracket fit right to our existing electrical box. And the remote synced near immediately.Coming from an old “builder’s grade” 48″ ceiling fan, to this, is night and day. In both looks and airflow. While the CFM is listed, level 3 (of 6) feels just higher than our old fan at max speed. If I had to guess (from knowing the CFM of other fans I’ve purchased and/or installed for family,) I’d venture to say this one is around the 8,000-8,500 CFM range on high speed. It is surprisingly super quiet. The only thing you hear is the airflow. So glad I purchased this bad boy!

Just the look I going for

This fan has become a conversation piece because it looks so nice. It’s very easy to install, pushes down lots of air and very light.
