I bought two of these for my lanai. They are gorgeous and really easy to install. Some reviewers complained that they were hard to install but that is ridiculous. The fans came with the typical picture based assembly instructions PLUS three sheets of typed (english) instructions regarding setting up the remote PLUS a link to a You Tube video showing a man actually assembling and installing the fan. Seriously people, do not leave a bad review just because you are not remotely handy.A couple of tips I would like to share. #1- The remote included with each fan has a frequency that is specific to that fan. I spent a few unnecessary minutes troubleshooting my installation of the second fan because I was trying to use the remote from the first fan. In my defense, I have other rooms in my home with matching fans and one remote operates them both. The way the remotes on these new fans work is actually an improvement.#2- I went to Home Depot and paid $90 for 12 of the E26 lights bulbs (three 4-packs)- Fortunately they were a little too long to fit into the cage that surrounds the lights and I returned them. I purchased the E26 bulbs from Amazon (that pop up when you put this fan in your cart) and only paid $50 for 12 bulbs.I hope this helps your decision making process.

It is eye catching. The fan is very quiet with a good amount of breeze. Overall pleased with it.My one complaint is when I ordered the description stated that you could use 1 , 3 or all 5 lights. Once it was put up realized that wasn’t true. By then it was too late to really do anything. It was hard to purchase the right lights without it being to bright.When I went back to look up description it didn’t say what I know was written when I purchased it.

I like this fan, but be sure and install the remote inside the unit before you put it up. I made that mistake and had to take it down and do it again. It is hard to fit everything in the unit, but it works and I love it. Added bonus, I painted the blades

Beautiful fan! Installation was a little tricky, but worth it! The receiver for the remote control didn’t fit, so we opted to use the pull chains.
