Replaced an old fan in our condo and this really updated the room. As far as fans go this wasn’t too bad to install but it was not a breeze. Remote works well but my daughter says the light isn’t bright enough (but she is getting used to it). Overall very happy with the purchase, packaging and the price

I bought this fan 13 months ago and to this day is working fine. It adds style to a modern/contemporary room and when it’s on high setting, can cool off up to 500SF easily without too much sunlight exposure. The remote has 1-2-3 settings that works from hi to lo respectfully, along with power/light buttons. If installed correctly, the fan is quiet. Recommended

Not only does this fan look great, but it functions well too. Installation was very easy and took less than 30 minutes. One of the coolest things about this fan are the materials that make up this fan. The fan body has a chrome finish and the blades are made of dark colored wood, which makes the fan look very modern. The fan comes with a fairly basic remote with 4 fan speed settings (1,2,3, and off) and a light on/off button. A cool thing about this fan is that when you turn the light on the light doesn’t turn on instantly. However, it gradually gets brighter creating the illusion almost of a sunrise. When the light is turned off, though, it is turned off instantly. At the fastest setting there is very little wobble. One minor complaint about the fan is that when at the maximum speed setting (1) you can hear the fan blades cutting through the air and the faint hum of the motor. This isn’t a big issue though since it isn’t that loud. Overall, this is a great looking modern fan that does its job well.Update:. Having an issue with the light. It would flicker. This is quite annoying but then the light would not turn on some days. Some days, it would. However, now the light will not turn on at all. Not sure if it’s a connection issue inside the light kit or bad bulb but the fan has only been installed for about 3 monts.—————————————————————————————————Pros:- Modern design- Looks great- Remote included- Little to no wobble even at fastest setting- Light turns on gentlyCons:- Some noise at fastest settingIf you found this review helpful I would appreciate it if you clicked the “helpful” button below this review. This fan looks nice and runs well but took a little bit of work. After I first installed it, there was rattling in the main housing. I had to take the top off the motor housing and adjust the wires so they wouldn’t rattle when the fan was on. It added an extra 45 minutes to the install. I am not impressed with the amount of light the halogen provides. I wish there was a way to upgrade it. I also wish there was an easy way to wire the fan with a dimmer switch instead of having to use the remote. Besides those 3 complaints, it runs great, is quite and looks beautiful.

This is a beautiful fan and a nice updated look compared to the fan I removed. I do wish the ceiling wire cover was a little larger. The fan it replaced was set on a ceiling stud, so I couldn’t tuck them into an electric box – they all had to fit in the ceiling cover which took a bit of magic. I did appreciate the longer wires and I did need an extension rod for my vaulted ceiling. Also wish it had a bit brighter light such as an LED or even a fixture with typical bulbs, but that’s my fault for not reading through the description which likely said it was a halogen bulb. Battery that came with the remote was dead, but that wasn’t a big deal.

The media could not be loaded.

This fan was easy to install. The only issue I had was the batteries were dead out the box and I had to put new batteries in.

Connector to light was missing – had to strip wires and crimp on a connector. Some in the package damage to one of the fan blades – purely cosmetic, but shows lack of attention to detail. The hunter 5 minute fans I’ve purchased at big box stores have a more finished appearance. For example this one leaves the philips mounting screws on the bell around the fixture exposed – very cheap looking. The light is bright – but it takes one of those halogen tochiere style bulbs – so no electricity saved here, or any LED conversion possible. The remote is comically large – like 80’s large – but seems to work just fine.Fan has no pull chains for light or fan – so it’s switch only / remote only. It does remember the last setting you had it on, so if you turn the switch off, it will revert to that state when you turn it on.Fan motor isn’t exactly quiet. It’s not “noisy” but much louder than I would expect from a fan of this expense. The light kit hasn’t quite mounted flushly either – and may need some tinkering – it gives a “Cheap and unfinished” appearance. The design is modern, and at a distance looks like a nice fixture. Anyone that takes a closer look will soon discover it is not.**Update. The light bulb didn’t last a week, and I’m having a fit finding one.If it wasn’t such a hassle to take it back down, disassemble and return, I would not keep it.
