I’ve used both Hampton and Honeywell fans in renovations. My opinion, Honeywell makes quality fans at affordable prices. I got this one for a buck twenty-five. Came with bowl lighting (not my favorite lighting, but the other option was more than it needed to be. Funding wise). The bowl provides adequate light, it’s just subdued. Bulbs are standard size (however replacing the bulbs is a pain). Installation was simple on a 3-way switch. Any good DIYer should not have issues with install. Motor is strong. Wood leaf arms look really cool, however, they are super light (feels like balsa wood, but it’s not). Wood is pieced/glued together (obvious on the underside. So, be really careful handling the wood arms. Overall: check out the picture. It’s a really cool looking light. Highly recommended. I plan I buying a few more for my home.

The remote doesn’t work with it also if you have a low ceiling it hangs low.. but our bed is under it so it’s not a problem. It is a beautiful fan and I switched to amber lightbulbs for ambiance. I love it and will be trying a different remote. It didn’t come with the remote sooo.. .. it’s very quiet with lots of power.. I love it!

Perfect replacement for my bedroom ceiling fan. Easy installation. Nice and quiet. Balanced perfectly, so no wobble.

I wired and installed myself. Good instructions and a very easy install. I like how smoothly the chain pulls feel when turning off and on. It’s very smooth, and feels very well made. The fan is silent at all speeds, and it looks great. Would I purchase this fan again? Yes, I would.

This fan is a great value. Looks good. Quiet. Not as expensive as some.I bought 3. Two of the fans had LED light bulbs (with normal sockets) and one had older incandescent (with a small socket). Totally different light kits. Not a big deal. But same model number and I happen to put one LED and the incandescent one where you can see both of them and the light colors don’t match. Well, shites. So one has a yellow light and one has a whiter light. Awful that Honeywell didn’t change the model number when they made the light switch change. And they knew because the instructions are updated as well. Not even the same size instruction manual.I emailed Honeywell. They said – forget about it. Ugh. I’d have to buy a new light kit. Not good. Also, I suggest NOT following the instructions. They would have you build the fan up on the ceiling. Blades and light fixture install on a ladder isn’t all that pleasant (first fan I did like the instruction said. Second and third one – no way) Build the fan as far along as you can before hanging it. Leave just one fan blade off. Install the light kit – all on the ground.
