I have two of these fans and planned on getting three more once our house is complete. I’m waiting a bit before I purchase the rest to see other available options. The first two are in the living room and dining room. As others have said about the installation, the controller is a pain to get into the fan mount. There’s no clearance Clarence. Beyond that, and the 5 short ground wires, the fan is good. It runs quiet and wasn’t too difficult to balance.I’m building a smart dome home, and these fans do work with Alexa, but not easily. To turn on the living room fan I can say, ” Alexa, turn on the living room fan”. The fan will come on. I can turn off both fans by saying, “Alexa, turn off the fans” and both will turn off. I assume this command will work with all future fans.Turning on the lights is the biggest issue. I need to say, “Alexa, turn on the light on the living room fan”. You need to be clear that you say, “on the living room fan” (or whatever you name it) or she will confirm and not turn on the light. While this specific command does turn on the light, it also turns on the fan, so I’d have tell Alexa to turn off the fan afterwards. It has become easier to use the app to turn on the light since I don’t use the remote because I don’t need another remote in my house. I would have liked a brighter maximum option for the light but it is enough to illuminate an average sized room. The wind breeze option is great. We live on a tropical island with trade winds and these fans do create a breeze similar to the outside breeze.

The fan works well and my electrician easily installed it. The DC motor is very quiet and it remembers both the light and fan settings when the fan is turned off and on with a wall switch. The Smart Life App allows full control of the fan and light. The only negative is the poor integration with Alexa. You cannot turn on the light without the fan coming on through Alexa. This is the case with the Alexa App and with voice control.

Deal breaker update:- you can’t control the fan light in a Google Home lighting group- the beep on every setting change is super annoying- at the lowest speed, it’s still too fast for winterInstalling 5 ground wires in the small space given between fan canopy and ceiling was a pain. Also the mounting canopy screws were fully screwed in which is super hard to unscrew when it’s on the ceiling. Lastly every speed, light, etc change resets in a beep which is super annoying and I can’t find a way to turn that off. Couple other things I noticed:- energy cost & airflow label on box vs. Amazon listing don’t match. Box says it costs more but also has more airflow.- everything appears to be built solid in metal which can’t be said for all fans- unfortunately the light cover appears to be plastic rather than glass. I expect it will unfortunately yellow eventually.- fan motor says ETL listed

I installed 3 ceiling fans this week and this one was incredibly insane. There’s a control box that you have to wire up that controls the fan and lights, but it’s huge and you have to slide it into the housing that is on the top. What the heck? So you have to figure out how to cram this box in that has wiring coming out of both sides into a perfectly shaped opening above the entire assembly. And there’s FIVE ground wires. Good luck. Also the instructions don’t mention installing the dust cover, which if you want to get on once you figure that out, you have to completely disassemble the housing and wiring.Wiring, S-tier difficultyThe rest, pretty easyIt does recall your settings when you turn it back on, 6 speeds and 3 different color schemes is nice. Looks good outdoors!

Light and fan works as expected. My frustration so far is with the remote range. You’d have to be completely under the fan for the remote to work. Otherwise, no luck. My table is a few feet away from the fan and I obviously want to control it from there and not have to stand and walk under the fan. I hope the manufacturer can do something about this pathetic remote range.

Let me start by saying this fan looks nice. But…… it is a complete pain in the butt to install!!! My husband is EXTREMELY handy, and he had a heck of a time installing this fan. The wires were way too long. The remote base was also very large, so it made it a complete nightmare to push all of the wires up in the housing. Make sure you have a stubby screwdriver handy to tighten the screws when you install the housing!!

Install and directions were definitely not easy. I don’t know where they thought this fan would be installed but this is definitely not for someone who doesn’t have tools or experience. Also connecting it to the network had to be done manually and finding it in the list was a pain as well. I think it was under electrical… a fan? After installed and connected to the network this product works well. I tested with Alexa, with the app and with the remote. They all work well. The fan is quite, the light is bright and can be changed to different settings. It looks good to.

All of my requirements are met by this fan. 52″, with a light, Alexa, and an energy-efficient DC fan. If you are aware of the inflation taking place and you need a new fan nonetheless, you should definitely purchase one with a DC motor because they are both considerably more energy-efficient and quieter. If you do not have an Alexa device, this has a remote. This fan doesn’t quite fit the décor of my house, but you can’t really see it because it’s usually spinning.
