    Do you like ceiling fans, but wish they had an incomprehensible programming function that ensures they will randomly beep and change speed/direction for the remainder of eternity? If so, this is fan for you! The first time your kid mashes all the programming buttons (and they will) you had better expect random beeps and changes all hours of the night. Why not just put pull chains and a direction switch on it like every other ceiling fan in history? Not everything needs a microprocessor in it. All that said, we like these and bought three. We have seven foot ceilings, so the compact, caged design works well for us.

    Update: The company reached out to me after seeing my initial review and quickly sent me a replacement. The replacement works perfectly and I was very pleased with their customer support.When I finally got ready to install the fan, a month after the return was over, I noticed the fan wasn’t attached to the base. I found some small bolts I had on hand and properly attached it into the holes where the 4 bolts should have already been attached (or at minimum, included). Had I not, the fan would have wobbled during operation. The instructions were very vague, but I managed through them. Once it was time to place the bulbs in one of the bulbs would not properly twist into place. I tried multiple bulbs hoping it was them. It seemed stripped and would not tighten. The fan pushed out more air than I thought it would but not being able to use all 4 bulbs is pretty disheartening. I wouldn’t recommend this system unless a half put together, half working item is what you are looking for.

    I still need to finish painting my ceiling but this fan is perfect for the space! So much smaller than my huge ugly old fan and blows air remarkably better. I do need to get used to the beep when I turn on the light. Not sure the reasoning behind adding the beep.

    Retrofitting where a large outdated ceiling fan light was, on a beam, it was a bit cumbersome to line up the new fitting, but well worth it. We installed a second one in another room that replaced a simple light fixture and installation was slightly easier-maybe because of it being the second installation… The amount of light it throws, is up to you-just buy four low watt bulbs that are equivalent to the brightness you desire: We purchased four 75 watt equivalent bulbs for the dining room, but for our second of these fixtures in a smaller room, we purchased four 60 watt equivalent bulbs. These fans move an unexpected amount of air, and it is quiet. We are pleased overall and fingers crossed for their longevity.

    I have bought 3 of these fans but one of them changes speeds on their own which is a pain when it goes from low to high speed at 3am. I wish so.ething could be done about this.

    Super cute and perfect for our spare bedrooms. Only downfall, one of those rooms is going to be a nursery and these lights beep every time you turn them on and off. Notttt a fan of that. May have to switch out the nursery one, which is a bummer because it’s perfect otherwise ?
