My husband installed this and said it was by far the easiest one he’d put upIn our house. We will be replacing a few others with this same one. The fan is quiet but gets really great airflow. We put it in our sons room that is in the basement and he didn’t care for the lights in the ceiling so he prefers this since it isn’t so bright and he’s able to dim it and doesn’t feel like he’s in a classroom at home too. Of course my son also really likes that it has a remote and he doesn’t have to get out of bed to cut off the lights. Typical teenager lol

Update – silenced the beep by putting a blob of hot glue into the buzzer on the circuit board!—-Wanted a fan for each of my daughters’ bedrooms (3 & 1 yo) – something enclosed, white, low-profile, and with app control so we can override and adjust from elsewhere. These are cheap, don’t get me wrong, but fans aren’t manhandled every day…FITTINGLightweight makes fitting easy with no risk of tearing themselves off the ceiling. The fitment is non-US standard (3x holes), but its simple enough to modify or find a solution – I lined up one of the existing mount points, and put two new holes into the ceiling. The plastic mounting piece is plenty big enough to cover the existing hole at about 6-7″. For back-up protection, and to minimize any vibration, I also secured the arms on the inside of the mounting piece to the cross bar of the existing metal ceiling bracket with a few large zip ties.WIRINGThe wires from the fan unit are short, 4-5″ at most , so you may need to use pigtails to extend your available length. This is the hardest part if you are only one person, but given the fan is so lightweight, I actually looped a few zip ties together and suspended the fan body from my ceiling bracket while I did the wiring. Snip the ties and attach to the ceiling mount and it’s done!REMOTEThe remote pairs automatically which is useful. Controls are intuitive and simple – my 3yo can use it and change the fan speed / lamp color with ease.APPThe app is odd, it’s not fully intuitive, but despite what others have said, it DOES work. There is a QR link to download the app in the manual. The instructions are then actually IN the app, on the ‘About’ page. To pair the fan to your app – open the app, turn on the fan at the wall (ie your old light switch, NOT the remote), then immediately press and HOLD the picture of a house on the app. The fan beeps and turns on/off and is then linked. To link another fan, you need to select another fan page – by default they are named A, B, C, D etc, but you can rename them. The app also lets you put a timer on the functions.FANNot the strongest of course, but it works just fine for purpose. The bottom of the case can be set to rotate to redirect air clockwise or counter clockwise if needed. The noise works well as white noise, no louder than any other desk fan etc.LIGHTThis is a great feature – a range of temperature colors and dimmable from the remote and the app. The casing casts an attractive pattern around the room. Full temp blue light is almost surgical, while the lowest provides a warm orange night light. For the price, we’re pleased with these. Basic, simple, but perfect for safely circulating air in their rooms.ONLY thing that is bugging us is the ‘beep’ with each button press. If anyone works out how to remove the speaker from the unit, please shout!
Honest Review –
Super cheaply made, ours had a small dent in it, but not so bad that it was worth the hassle of returning. If you saw how this was packaged, coupled with its incredibly flimsy construction, you would understand how easily this could be damaged while in transit. Based on the design of some of the components, I’m guessing everything was made to fit a different market than the U.S., but who knows. We created new holes in the fan mounting plate so the bracket would bolt into the existing ceiling box. The wiring “box” inside the fan seemed loose, so we secured it with a screw so it wouldn’t rattle when the fan was on (screw not provided) … not saying you should do this, but we like to live on the edge, so it’s what we did. It’s unlikely you are going to have a battery for the remote laying around, because it takes an oddball 23A / 12V size – they’re not hard to obtain, just know nothing else in your house will need this size battery. Since we didn’t have a battery, we were going to try the app. After trying to download it and failing, we decided to just wait until we got a battery. I know I said we live on the edge, but not so far on the edge that we trust having this app on our phone. The fan works fine and actually delivers the breeze we wanted into the room it’s located in. It makes a little noise, but it’s a fan, and fans make noise. The oscillator works ok – not amazing, but good enough. The lights are fine, not great, but good enough. The remote beeps very loudly when used – makes our cat jump every time. Not sure why it was designed to be so loud – seriously, it’s like crazy loud. When you turn off the wall switch the unit is attached to, it resets itself, so you have to find the light/fan combination you previously had it set to – no memory function. Also, no smart home integration. Definitely not worth what we paid for it, but fractionally better than the standing oscillating fan in the corner. Not sure what we do when the remote dies, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. My spouse and I only yelled at each other 4 times while installing, not bad on our proprietary Yell-O-Meter scale.

Better than not having a fan at all but the air flow area is small.

The light was very easy to install and seems to be functioning very well once I got the app to work (with product support from the seller). Keep in mind the remote needs a 12 volt 23 amp battery that is not included. When hooking it up to the app only press the button for a second to get it to connect to the fan light. Directions aren’t very clear and it looks like you have to hold it for 5 to 10 seconds but it’s literally only one second. App seems pretty easy to use and overall I’m pretty happy with it.
