    Easy install Everything works as supposed to. Thought nightlight mode should be not as bright as it is. Might be fine for you.In all would buy again

    I installed my combo unit today. Easy to install but plastic and looks cheap although it’s not cheap.

    The good stuff:Fan is easy to installHas many light options – the dim ones are really pleasant. So, a great plus on that.Minor issues:Remote – As other reviews have stated – a bit confusing, but not difficult to get the hang ofThe brightness level set once will reset each time the lights are turned on or off.Example, if I set the lights to dim, pleasant White, that is reset back to default level when the lights are turned off or on. Would be nice if that setting were retained.Major but manageable issue:Unless the ceiling is high you won’t get much wind if you are sitting in an area that is not directly under the fan. My desk is offset about 2.5 feet to the side of the fan center and I can feel the wind swirling near the bottom of the table around my legs and feet, but not higher around my upper body. I figure that the conical funnel of air requires quite some height before it can expand fully. So, higher the ceiling better is the spread of the cone of air by the time you can feel the wind in your hair.Therefore if you have typical ceiling heights, you may not get the direct benefits of the direct air output by the fan. But if you keep the fan on for sometime (even on low speed) you can feel the humidity gradually leaving the room improving the overall environment.I guess I have to live with that because the fan is good otherwise.

    We have recessed lights in our kitchen and the placement of a normal was sort of below the lights which caused an flashing effect. Wife and I decided on this fan due to price. We originally looked at the home Depot one but didn’t want to spend $250 for a fan type we weren’t going to like. The fan is pretty powerful but it kind just blows straight down. I really wish it had a memory feature. We like to use the white type of light but anytime you turn the light off it defaults to the yellow type of light and you need to change it EVERY SINGLE TIME. Due to this we really only use it as needed and really only for the fan to create a breeze in our kitchen

    Pro” Very, very easy to install. Only 8 inches in depth so can be used with really low ceilings. Came on time. Bright light if you need. Fan works fine. Covered fan so can use with really low ceilings or in a room with bunk beds where you are worried about moving blades. Fan is pretty quiet even on the medium speed. The light baffle has a sparkly quality so rather pretty. Very lightweight so easy to lift and install.Cons: There is no moving baffle to the fan so the breeze is really just below the fan ( but it does help move air in the room). Really more for a small room. The lights are really bright and when you turn the light on it ALWAYS comes on at the brightest level. Mostly plastic ( so very lightweight). Can only be used with the included remote. Batteries not included so you’ll need 2 AAA batteries for the remote.A bit expensive for what it is. I needed it for a room that has really low ceiling. We have a pool table in there so wanted a ceiling fan that wouldn’t be a danger of hitting with put cues.I had ordered something almost like this from “the web” for about half the price. I knew it would come from China but took the chance. It never came, the website vanished. and my credit card gave me my money back. I then found almost the same thing an Amazon. The price is almost double but it actually arrived and works.

    Adding an update to my review. The factory asked for a video of the fan and then sent me a video of how to take the fan apart, saying that there is most likely a loose connection. As it turned out, yes, there was a loose connection, but I had to take the whole fan body and the white boxes inside it apart in order to find it. SO I updated my rating to a 4 star, because the factory did send me an e-mail saying that it was a loose connection, but the fan had to be taken apart and required some mechanical and electrical skills/knowledge to acomplish.The fan looks great. We purchased it as part of a larger renovation and the contractor didn’t get to it until about a month later and the light goes on when connected to power, but no remote functions work and the light adjustment doesn’t work either. Since it was more than a month, Amazon referred me to the vendor who was closed for 6 days for Chinese New Year. They haven’t gotten back to me since. I sent another e-mail as follow up. Our contractor is almost done with most of the other work, so I’m hoping we can get this resolved in time…
