    The assembly instructions call for the blades and lighting parts to be added after the motor unit has been suspended from the mounting bracket. The problem is gravity. All of the screws required are short and the threaded holes are hidden. On one of the parts there are banjo holes but they must be for another product because they are nowhere near to the hardware. I wrestled with the assembly for two hours going up and down the ladder for every dropped screw. Until I finally took the motor assembly off of the mounting and finished assembly on the table in less than 15 minutes.More: I bought a second one of these based on the quality of the overall product. This one had the right top plate for the lamp housing- the banjo holes were in the right place. BUT the screws provided for mounting the light panel have a head diameter that falls through the slots. I did do all of the assembly on the table, as I suggested, and it was so much easier.

    This is my 4th fan to assemble and hang..I wish I had to do another one, so I would do a video.I had a remote and receiver not work, however, the company quickly shipped me new of both and they worked great. Most important hint from me —-is to assemble fan completely before hanging…I found it very difficult and time consuming to try and screw the light into the metal plate from below it..and mark screw holes on light holder… before you take out the screws. See picture and video for description and helpful hint.Don’t ever misplace remote!!!!

    So after spending a small fortune on home renovations, the one thing everyone loves the most are the fans! These have such a beauty, they look for like artwork rather that a functional ceiling fan. Fantastic materials and quality, and even if there is a little problem, their customer service is unbelievable. I would like to hire whomever is working for their customer service team to come work for me!

    Difficult to put up and my husband is very handy. When I press the remote for light it takes about 5 secs to actually go on. LED do that but this light does it longer. Maybe it’s our experience…but it bugs me. Pretty and modern, wood matches my decor…like a driftwood color.

     AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!This is my 3rd ceiling fan from Sofucor.This fan cost more, but it is definitely higher quality.It runs silently and the remote responds quickly.My other fans make a click when you turn them on, this one does not. (Any popping noises you hear in the video are from the fireplace.)The dimming feature is nicer too. With the other remotes, you have to cycle all the way through bright to get to dim. This one has “+” and a “-” button to control the intensity of the light.It looks great and it gives off plenty of light for my bedroom.The way the fan is packed is problematic. The first one, the motor wires were bent over the housing and had been completely cut through.Contacted Sofucor, they sent a whole new motor assembly within a couple days! The new one was packed the same way and the wires were laid the same way; the insulation around them was cut a little, but the actual wires were ok this time (see photo).Very good buy, especially for the pricePro tip: I think someone else mentioned putting it all together on a table – good advice.

    Great looking light/fan fixture. Pretty easy to install, great functions. Only issue is a 2-3 second delay turning on when using the wall light-switch (no delay using remote only).
