    I bought this to install at a friends outdoor patio. I really wasn’t expecting much for the price but I was quite pleasantly surprised. The build quality is quite good. The fan has absolutely no imbalance and is very quiet but it moves a surprising amount of air. The light is very bright and dimmable with multiple colour temperatures to choose from. Not that I needed them but even the instructions were pretty decent.

    I really like this fan and it would really look great on my ceiling but I can’t figure out the installation instructions! I’ll have to hire someone to do it.

    I have mixed feelings about this fan. I am a big fan of the plastic blades and think they last longer than wood blades. I love the remote options as well. There are timers as well as both hue and brightness changing functionality on the remote. The fan itself looks and functions great!My issues with the fan are mostly with the install.The holes in the mounting plate are way too large so I had to go to the local hardware store to get some washers so that it would fit. (Pictures attached). The instructions mention how to balance the fan with weights, but the weights were not included! My fan also came with a cracked light housing which I have been waiting on a new part for over a month.There is also not alot of room for the remote receiver that sits in the base housing. I had to play with it quite a bit to make it fit.After installation I do like the look and functionality of the fan. A couple simple QC improvements and this could be a 5 star fan.

    1st I wanna start with the fact that this fan is super nice for the price point that it’s at. It’s very sleek, quiet and looks great. The light is super bright (and adjustable) and the fan really pumps the air. It works perfectly for my need of a pivotal ceiling fan due to my sloping ceilings and woodstove. The downside is the fact that they did not factor in the remote receiver box when they created the mount cover size. Hubs was the real MVP because I have no idea how he fitness that up there not once but twice (the wire popped loose the first time with how much he had to fangle it). Because of this I rate this right around 50% for the quality, and build.

    Fan itself is great. Once installed, it provides adequate speed and air. Low lighting. My issue is installation. I’ve installed a few dozen fans and find the new fans with remotes are a real pain. Instructions provide very little help, but any DIYer can piece it together. If you run into a 3 way switch, just cap off the red if you want to use the remote. The remote receiver fits in the mount, but leaves no room for anything else. I shoved the wiring up in the gang box and some in the mount cover and it was really tight. Not happy with wiring all squeezed in, doesn’t seem safe. However, all wires are tied in (the pull test), nothing exposed. Overall: love the fan, hated the install.

    Installation was a mess. I’m not a novice at ceiling fan installation, in fact this was my 3rd one this year. There are no written directions as to how to install, only pictures that are quite frankly small and not at all helpful. With help I finally got it installed and I really do like it. The fan is powerful, yet super quiet even on the highest setting. You can adjust the color and intensity of the light and operate everything from the remote control. I’d give it 5 stars if it had better installation instructions.

    I got this to update our living room fan/ light. This appears to be a nice quality fan. Appears to be made well. My husband attempted to put it up and was disappointed with the directions as there were only pictures (no text or items labeled). He got frustrated after working on it for about an hour and gave up. A week later and I still do not have my fan up. When he gets the fan installed, I’ll update my review.
