   I spent a ridiculous amount of time looking for a decent small fan/light for a home office. I bought a few other products that looked cool in pictures and were plastic pieces of junk with terrible lighting. This fan however is a solid build (what I would expect from Hunter), nice looking fan with good lighting since you can control what wattage bulbs are used. I guess my only complaint is that the light cover is a bit over frosted and cuts the lumens down, but still bright.I installed this fan with a Westinghouse fan controller/light dimmer. No issues with securing the light cover and its secureness as some others reported issues with.Very happy with this purchase.

   For the past year, my wife and I have been making our house look more like we want it to look. Part of that was updating my office. The previous resident had a light fixture from a vanity mirror mounted on the wall.Nope. Done.I bought this lighting fixture after doing some research on this and competitive brands. It’s small but so’s my office. The fan is quiet and surprisingly powerful and the lighting is a lot better than what I used to have. A good investment for our house.

   I had this fan installed in my kitchen and love it. It is modern, has replaceable LED bulbs and very quiet. The highest speed is fast and medium is quite a bit less and low is a very minimal speed. The size is perfect for a small space (84 sq. ft.) but at highest speed will cool off a larger room nicely.

   I bought 6 of these during a recent price drop and have installed 4 so far. Very happy with them. “Cute fan” is the first thing people say when seeing these small and compact fans installed.I had none of the negative issues I’ve seen mentioned in many other reviews.Assembly instructions suggested hanging the motor first, then installing the fan blades and light housing to the hanging motor. That looked awkward to me, so I fully assembled the fans on a table before hanging. Super easy. A magnetic philips screwdriver helps to hold the screws while guiding them through the box of wires when fastening the light housing to motor housing. Small fan with only three blades, so these fans are super easy to hang fully assembled.One time while removing the tape holding the pull chain to housing’s exterior, the chain slipped back into its hole and required several minutes to fish it back through the hole.Each fan replaced an older fan in my 60 year old house, and each with different mounting issues. The provided bracket worked great each time. I did have to find some machine screws and nuts for attaching one bracket to a ceiling fan junction box but everything lined up nicely.The glass light globes are very solid and heavy, and securely screw into the metal light housing. Their weight holds them in place and prevents them from unscrewing themselves as some reviews suggested could happen. But definitely be careful when unscrewing the glass globe in order to access the fan reversing switch inside since globe’s shape isn’t easy to handle. And make sure globe is screwed in all the way so it drops back down into its secure position.The glass globes are very thick and somewhat milky white, so they do seem to block some of the light from the bulbs inside, but not too much. The provided LED bulbs are very bright, normal sized bulbs, and 3000K, not too yellow but still a nice warm color. Little light is directed upward to wash the ceiling, so this does create some glare in a dark room with no other light sources.The pull chains work nicely and don’t rock the hanging fan too much, or enough to cause me concern that the glass globe might come loose.The assembly instructions confused me at first because of the many different installation options shown, but after the first fan, the other 3 went together fast. Actually, I kept thinking that these things were designed very well to be both very nice looking and easy to assemble and install, depite what I’ve read in other reviews.All of the fans wobble a tiny bit, but not enough to be terribly noticable. I reduced one’s wobble a bit with the simple easy to use balancing kit.Three speeds. Very fast high that pushes lots of air in our 13 x 13 bedrooms. Medium seems too slow and could be a bit faster. And low is very very low.

   Started off great, but then the light stopped working. Not sure what happened, think we got a faulty product. Very disappointed as it took a while to install. Back to square 1.

   This fan is the perfect size and type for the small area it covers. I needed a fan in part of the kitchen which gets warmer than the rest of the house. This fan is not only functional but good looking and wonderfully quiet. It did not take an electrician to install it, my son did it, However he said it was rather heavy and needed an extra pair of hands to hold it while he lined up the screws and holes, which weren’t perfectly fit, The fan replaced a ceiling light with no trouble. Like it so much I already bought another Hunter fan for another area.

   The packaging and instructions were great and easy to follow! You definitely need 2 people to install this unless you’ve got a secret extra arm… Shut off the breaker to the room you’re installing the fan so make sure you have set up another source of light first so you can see what you’re doing. Have a good ladder and, ideally 2 ladders so your helper can be up there with you.The fan is nice in many ways. First, the blades have a light wood pattern on one side and plain white on the other. It was nice to have the option to choose the look we wanted. Second, there are two different sizes down poles so you can choose how low you want the fan to hang. We have a low ceiling where our fan is so we used the shorter one so it’s closer to the ceiling. Third, the fan comes with the 2 bulbs intended to be used which is just a nice touch. They’re bright LED bulbs. We don’t have a remote and that wasn’t important to us. The pull chains actually have an icon to identify which is the fan and which is the light. How many times did I pull the wrong one on other fans? Such a simple design and it really is a nice touch!The fan makes a little noise when on a high speed but no more than most others we’ve heard. It’s not an issue. Don’t use a dimmer switch to turn on the power for the fan, use a regular on/off no dimmer. Especially if you’re wiring in an old house like we did. The dimmer switch even when all the way up interfered with the operation of the whole thing. Once installed this is a really sweet little fan that cools the whole room. It also makes the air conditioning more efficient so that’s a money saver right there. Great fan, a very nice look to it, two blade color options that you can choose, and really good installation instructions. We are really pleased with this purchase!
