The first pack of fan weights I bought had one clip and two weights. For this fan it wasn’t enough. I bought another pack with two clips and four weights. All six weights were barely enough to counter-balance this fan.If I were to do it again, I would start with the large pack, then get another large pack if I needed it.Along the way, one of the clips broke, while the fan was spinning. This shouldn’t have happened. The clips need to be redesigned. You can do the balance procedure with one clip, but what if the other one breaks too? Besides you can do more kinds of testing with two or four clips than you can with one.

Everything was in the package. But the first clip I tried to use broke when I put it on the first fan blade. I was able to use the second clip, but I couldn’t get it all the way onto the fan blades. It stuck out a bit. But I was able to make it work. The instructions were really had to read, because they were sentences without spaces. You have to decipher where the spaces should be to understand the instructions. Fortunately, I already knew how to use it, and there are plenty of instructions and videos online.

This is not a bad product, but I wouldn’t order it again. I have no way of weighing the clips vs the weights, but they don’t seem to be the same. If they were the same it should state it on the website. The weights stick very well, but they are thick enough that you can see them sitting on the fan. All the weights are the same weight. A small clip could replace the clip they send. A penny, nickel or quarter taped on the fan would stick up less and be less visible. Just follow the attached directions if you can read them.

Wobbly ceiling fan? 1) tighten all screws. 2) make sure all blades are the same distance from the ceiling.3) use this product. It looks very simple, and it is. It may take a little experimenting. Trying each blade, weight here, weight there. Then trying two blades. Be methodical, be persistent. You will find the right spot to attach the weights. And voila – the wobbles are gone! (Tip – wear a heavy glove or an oven mitt so you can stop the fan and won’t have to wait for it to stop. You may be doing 20 or more trials.)

No instructions provided as advertised. Found instructions online via Google. After extensive trial and error, unable to determine which blade(s) to attach weights to balance the fan. Result: The kit is useless to me.

I hope you caught the joke in the headline here, but I feel like this company could’ve tried a LITTLE harder to use a spacebar when typing out the instructions. I’ll be honest that my 3 star review is based on only that and has nothing to do with the product function as I haven’t tried it yet. I’m sure it works fine. One of the clips broke when I fit it over the fan blade. The instructions are difficult to read because they do not have spaces between words. See my photo of the instructions. Ifyoucanreadthisthenyouwilliketheinstructions.

Adhesive weighted parts worked well. The part you open to put on the fan blade to test where the weights are needed snapped putting it on the blade. The second one did the same thing.
