   Overall, I’d say this is good, but with some limitations.The light:This light could be a little brighter but it works for an average size room. It defaults to a basic cool, white light but the color and brightness can be changed through the remote. If you use only the remote to control the light, the brightness and color will be remembered.The fan:It’s quiet enough but it also doesn’t move a ton of air, but it doesn’t need to as it’s not designed to do the work of a regular fan. As it’s mounted up near the ceiling, it’s intended to circulate air for both cooling and warming, reversing the flow for whichever mode you want. It’ll sucks cooler air up for circulation or forces the warmer air near the ceiling down when warming a space.Installation:It does come with a carabiner-hanger and wire set pre-attached, which is nice. Hook the carabiner to the support or box and the lamp will hang down, freeing you to use both hands to do the installation. (Having this bit is probably also required for sale in the US to meet safety regulations and building codes.) Plenty of hardware was included.Drawback(s):Almost all functions are ONLY accessible through the remote so if you lose the remote all you can do is turn the light on and off- no control of the fan, color mode, or brightness is available. (To be fair, this is common on all of these kinds of fan-lamps. Regardless, it’s still poor design.)If you use the normal wall switch to turn the light on and off, it won’t save any color, fan, or brightness settings. It’ll default to white light, no fan when turned on the next time. To be honest, I’m not sure if this is a drawback or not.Summary:Well….I’m not super excited about it but I also don’t hate it. It does what it says it does and reasonably well.In conclusion:It does look nice, no complaints there. And it does light the room. I just wish there was some additional way to control it. If you lose the remote or it breaks, you’re boinked. (But again, this is true of every fan/light combo out there that I know of.)I think it’s a decent light, worth giving it a try. It’ll grow on you.

   The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the only function that works with alexa is the fan. In the app it says you can create functions to still make it turn the light switch on and off but I haven’t figured out how to make that work. The app works great and it is super easy to install

   I did not like the fact that this did not have a way to turn the light on from the switch. Once you installed it you can only use the remote, so what happens if something happens to the remote?

   Well the fan and light were very easy to install to the box I had for the vintage fan I removed. The headache is getting the TUYA app to work. I tried my android phone and my android tablet to get the app to work. After many tries with the “timeout” message, uninstalling and reinstalling the Tuya app I finally got the app to work when I turned the fan on with the light on. Apparently everything must be turned on to get the Tuya app to connect. I am still having problems getting the fan and light to work with Alexa. I hope this can help anyone else who seems to can not get the Tuya app to work. I do have other devices on the Tuya app so I knew how to use the app before I bought the fan. After doing a network channel reset on my home network, Alexa now works with the light and fan. I set it up with Alexa and waited a couple of hours and all tested OK.

    I’m actually relatively happy with the purchase. Barring a few, personally, massive issues, but for the pros and cons. Pros: the light itself is quite bright; the fan is quiet and moves a lot of air for it’s size; the app controls for the fan+light are intuitive and user friendly; and it was definitely easy to install. Cons: the remote is temperamental and after 2 days of use the brightness and temperature functions stopped working; the app itself has had issues and server connection issues making it so that I couldn’t control any features with my phone; the Alexa integration has caused more frustrations mainly due to the aforementioned server issues; there is an electrical hum when on any color gradient that isn’t warm white; and personally my biggest issue, when the light it is “off” the LEDs aren’t actually off, causing what is shown in the night photo, light strong enough to cast shadows and even read a book by. Overall I would say that it’s not a bad product if you have the cash to burn. But with the issues I’ve experienced, I would highly recommend keeping the remote close by and not installing this is a bedroom.

   This fan light replaced an old-style fan with lights that turned off and on with pull chains. There is no wall switch. the electrician installed it yesterday. I bought it because it has a remote and is Alexa compatible. I want to walk into my kitchen and tell her to put on my light. Problem is that it turns on the fan as well. if I shut off the fan and turn the brightness up on the light, the fan goes back on. One reviewer said that I can voice control, possibly with alexa skills or routines, but I have not been able to do that yet. And the fan is a little noisy but I am hard of hearing so it doesn’t bother me.

   This office fan light does exactly what it is supposed to. Installation was easy, and the light and fan work perfectly. The remote control is easy to understand and use. The light temperature can be changed from a very warm to a very cold light temperature. Fan can be reversed using the remote control.Alexa integration was automatic with the use of the “Tuya Smart” app. It needs to be installed as a amart fan. Voice control works great after learning:”Alexa turn -Name- on [1 to 6]” controls fan speed”Alexa turn -Name- on/off” turns on and off fan”Alexa turn -Name- Light on/off” controls light”Alexa turn -Name- Light on full” turn light on 100%”Alexa turn -Name- Light on [1% to 100%] dims and brightens lightAnd so on.

   Don’t like can’t dim light enough, or ligjt comes on after electric goes off and on, but r overall it is pretty and works.
