    Nice Fan. I was mounting using some hardware from the 50’s so I did not use the mounting kit that came with this. Replacing a very old Fan with this was the right thing to do. A lot less weight, easy to use, and the light really brighten up the room.

     I got this fan after my family recently moved. It was an easy install (aka my dad did it quickly) and the remote is so helpful when im in bed and randomly feel the need to turn the fan on.

     To start with, this light/fan combination runs the lights and fan at the same time – another reviewer indicates this is not so. The video attached demonstrates both functions work at the same time and that the fan on full speed is relatively quiet.I am handy doing home projects including installing ceiling lights. This project was time consuming, and parts of the process were tedious. For starters – the 20 acrylic heart pendants have a film that must be removed before installation. Seems easy enough – I could not peel the film off with my fingers and resorted to using a sharp knife to lift and remove this film. I did this on a work bench for this task took time, worked with a very sharp knife and there were 40 pieces of film needing removed. Please be careful if you choose to use a sharp instrument to remove the film!Attaching the heart shaped pendants took a little finger dexterity – I am thinking it may have been easier to attach the hearts with a needle nose plier – a suggestion for other buyers.The bracket used to hang this light was easy to affix to the ceiling electrical box. Pay attention to the installation suggestion for using the S-hook tool to hold the lighting fixture in place when doing the wiring (picture attached). This handy tool and process made installation much easier especially when installing by one person. This S-hook is then removed, and the wired unit is then set onto the mounting bracket and tightened.The installation kit came with several types of screws to tackle various mounting options (wood ceiling, concrete ceiling or outlet box for example). The kit did not include any wire nuts and have electrical tape as one of the items needed for installation. It is not clear if the manufacture is suggesting that electrical tape alone is sufficient for the job. Instructions are vague – “Connect the black live wire marked “L” on the receiver to the live wire (typically black) on the socket box.” That is the instruction, however, it is critical to use wire nuts and electrical tape to complete the wire connections.A spare light bulb has been included and this is very nice. The light also comes with a remote control and with a holder that can be mounted to the wall (screws included). My suggestion is to use command mounting tape so you do not need to put mounting screws into your nice wall surfaces (just say’n).This is a beautiful light and ceiling fan. The small fan moves a bunch of air, is quiet and the lights are bright. There are some quirks to consider when installing and the end result is a beautiful ceiling fan with lights!

    This fan is pretty and functional. It was easy to install with all the hardware included. However taking the film off the hearts and attaching them to the fan took longer than the actual hanging of the fan. Personally, I do not see why the hearts do not come already attached to the fan. The light is bright but is not dimmable. The cage/outside of the fan is very pretty and the colorful hearts just add to the charm. The fan blades are a pretty brown color, which looks like wood when it is spinning. The fan works extremely well and you definitely can feel the air from this fan. It runs quietly. Overall, this is an excellent fan and I do recommend it for looks and functionality.

    I have ordered two of these ceiling fans (similar) and I love them. They are beautiful and safe. The blades are enclosed in the cage, but they still operate the same. Those heart-shaped cutouts are delightful. I will use the little heart charms but only in the room in which my granddaughter sleeps when she visits. Otherwise, I will not use them in the other room. Another plus is that it comes with bulbs and is very easy to install. Can’t beat it! It is well worth the money.
