    I like the look and the concept of having the fan inside but not as simple to install as it’s made out to be.

    We got the gray one in today. It was real easy to install. 2 screws that hold the base to the junction box and 4 screws that holds the fan to the base (2 are slotted for easy installation). The light goes from about 2700K to 6500K (warm white to cool white) at a wide range of brightness. The fan puts out more air than you would expect which was my concern. A button on the remote controls all of it. The fan also has a timer. The center fan guard can rotate. This makes the fan act like an oscillating fan. It is real quiet. If the fan has issues, I will update this.

    Opened and found two screws and nuts. Fixed them but checked ALL screws. Most were loose, tightened all of them. I should have returned it.

    The fan is very nice but after installing it I noticed two missing screws that were part of the unit. They were the screws that hold the fan housing to the center motor housing. When I replaced them, I noticed that several of the other screws were loose. For a ceiling fan where vibration could be a concern, missing and or loose screws is bad. I would have expected self locking hardware, but that was not the case.

    We have a small kitchen and gets warm cooking on stove or oven. This is the perfect product for air circulation. The unit is lightweight with easy installation. The product is plastic so I’m not sure of longevity. The 6 speed fan with air deflection is great. When installing make sure to not over tighten the 4 mounting screws or the air deflector can bind. The remote control works good and I had no issues turning light or fan on or off, same for deflector, or changing speeds. One thing to remember when changing fan direction from forward to reverse is to press stop and allow fan to stop rotating before pressing to opposite button. If you don’t you can shorten life of fan motor.
