If you are puzzled with my title, keep reading.Many reviewers mentioned that it is very hard to assemble and install the fan. Since I have some experience and installed very many ceiling fans in my life my approach was different. So below I will tell you how to do it fast and efficiently.Use a box from this fan or something similar and mount all the blades right there with the fan still sitting on top of the box.Now let us move to the light kit. I tried to mount it with the fan already on the ceiling and it was not easy. The main reason is that the wire harness for the light is secured with a cable tie. This cable tie is blocking the light kit connector. It is difficult to plug it in. It took me some maneuvering to do it. So you can try to mount the kit right there on the floor, before you hang the fan.And now let us go to my biggest problem: the hanging bracket. It took me a lot of efforts to remove my old one just to realize that the bracket provided with the fan does not fit my box in the ceiling. So I had to reuse my old one.And now about another problem. This fan did not fit in my room because it is located near my bay window and there is a ledge. This fan does come with a short mounting rod but since it did not fit I was going to reuse my 17 inch rod. Sadly the fan wires are short and I had to cut my old fan’s wires and extend the existing ones.

The design of this fan was mad. Sure it looks great but who thought that it was a good idea to attach the fan blades through a small access plate at the top of the motor was ridiculous. I have installed many fans before but never saw this dumb idea for blade attachment before. Let’s start first with the ceiling mount. It was wider than a standard junction box so the holes did not align with the round junction box holes you would find in many ceilings. So I hand to improvise by using a toggle bolt( not included) for one of the holes. But the worst part was the fan blade attachment. It shows attaching the from the top of the motor through a small access plate by rotating the motor blades as you go. So in order to place the screws you will need a special screwdriver that holds the screw as you are screwing downward. Unable to see the holes while trying to hold the blade in place. You would need 3 hands. One to hold the blade, 1 to hold a flashlight and 1 to hold the screwdriver. After 1 very frustrating hour I decided to take down the fan, disassemble the top motor housing cover and attach the fan blades on the floor. Then reassemble and hang it. Total time was almost 3 hours.

I had my electrician install the fan and it is nice, except the light is very harsh, even at the lowest setting. I did not get an instruction manual with the fan and I cannot find a way to contact the company to get one. I wondered if I could use other bulbs in the light section. So, nice fan but sketchy.

It takes awhile to assemble but put the screws in the blades loose the tighten them when they are installed on the blade. It’s modern & quite. They’re are 3 different led lighting modes which is different. Used in the bedroom & works great even with vaulted ceiling’s.

This is a review of: CJOY Ceiling Fan with Lights, 52” Modern Ceiling Fan with 4 Reversible Blades, 3000K….I only gave 4 Stars for Overall rating because the house is still being renovated from Hurricane Michael in 2018; therefore, I am not using it on a daily basis and have no way to form an opinion of the durability. Hopefully, the LED light will not fail, and it’s expected lifespan will be fulfilled. My electrician installed it in about 30 minutes after removing the old ceiling fan. The blades and fixture were perfectly balanced without any adjustments. Other reviewers mentioned the beeping sound when changing the fan speed, but I did not even hear it until I specifically concentrated on it. It is a very quick, subtle beep, and I am not bothered by it. However, I am a senior female; it’s possible my hearing is not as acute as someone younger. Although one’s choice of light brightness and tone cannot be saved, it is easily changed with the remote. The remote has 3 settings for programming the run time of the fan which I think will be convenient when I finally move in. It is probably the quietest and most balanced of any ceiling fan I have ever had. It’s well worth the purchase price. I recommend this product. This review was written by LynKin.

My first fan broke and they replaced the entire thing because there’s a 2-year unlimited warranty on the unit. So instead of replacing the part, they replaced the entire thing for free.
